The hotel is located in the lovely Montesolaro of Carimate, a small town in the Como province, just a few steps away from the luxurious Golf Club. Furthermore, we are really close to the XII century Carimate Castle and the Romanic San Fedele Basilica. The surrounding area is immersed in nature where all visitors can take long walks, ride bikes, or simply sit and relax on a bench to admire the view.
The building contains 27 comfortable and bright rooms. The hotel is situated in a central position. The area is really quiet and, in the surroundings, guests will benefit of all the main town services, such as restaurants and pizzerias, a supermarket, a bank and a post office.

LAKE COMO
The most important centre is Como. The city that gives its name to the lake, with its precious monuments, the charming old town and the picturesque views. If boats and hydrofoils are an excellent opportunity to admire the city and fully enjoy the landscape’s beauty, to enjoy a wider view there is no more suitable means than the funicular that connects Como to Brunate.
The second most important city is Lecco, famous above all for being the city of the popular novel ‘Promessi Sposi’. Equally suggestive are the lakeside towns as Cernobbio, home to large stately villas such as Villa D’Este and Villa Erba, Bellagio, known as the ‘pearl of the lake’ for its enchanting scenery.
Very fascinating is the island Comacina, a small green jewel surrounded by the waters of the lake, where settlements dating back to the Roman times were found, which is why scholars love to call it the ‘Pompei Lariana’, where Lario stands for the Latin name of the lake.

DURINI CASTLE
Villa Castello Durini stands on a hill overlooking the surrounding countryside.
From here, in the middle of a mountain amphitheatre, one can admire Monte Rosa, the chain of the Alps, the Grigne and the Resegone mountains. Built starting from the year 1000, the structure is a splendid architectural complex erected around a tower of Roman origins.
The successive extensions, which took place up to the year 1800, gave rise to a coexistence of constructive and decorative styles that blend in perfect harmony.

NATURAL RESERVE OF FONTANA DEL GUERCIO
The Regional Reserve of Fontana del Guercio, established in 1986, is located entirely within the municipality of Carugo (CO). The reserve has particular characteristics from the hydrogeological point of view, given the presence of 14 springs, fountains, probably used since the times of Celts.
One of these, the Testa del Nan, is one of the largest Longobard fountains, which gives origin to the Borromeo Canal that runs through the entire reserve.
The reserve is also a Site of Community Interest because of the presence of freshwater crayfish, (Austropotamobius pallipes).
